Founded in 1991, Museu da Pessoa is a virtual, collaborative portal of life stories. It is based on the principle that telling, listening to, learning about, and preserving the stories of people of all ages, races, beliefs, and professions can be profoundly meaningful.

As part of the celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of the Rio-Niterói Bridge, testimonies were recorded that reveal how this masterpiece of national engineering is also a mosaic of memories, dreams, and transformations—woven together by those who envisioned, built, experienced, and have their life stories intertwined with this Brazilian cultural heritage.
